How We Help with Your Injury Claim
A personal injury claim involves more than submitting medical bills to an insurance company. We review the circumstances of the accident, the available evidence, and the losses involved so your claim can be presented with supporting documentation.
Investigating the accident. We review relevant reports, photographs, witness information, and other available records to evaluate how the accident occurred and who may be responsible.
Documenting injuries and losses. We help organize medical records, bills, wage-loss information, and other evidence showing how the accident affected your health, work, and daily activities.
Handling insurance communications and negotiations. We assist with claim communications, prepare settlement demands, evaluate responses, and advise you about proposed resolutions.
Considering litigation when necessary. If a claim cannot be resolved through negotiation, we discuss the available legal options and the steps involved in pursuing litigation. You remain involved in decisions about your case.

Compensation for Your Injuries & Losses
An injury can create immediate expenses and lasting disruption. Depending on the facts and applicable law, a personal injury claim may include compensation for:
Medical expenses and future care: Accident-related treatment, rehabilitation, and reasonably supported future treatment needs.
Lost income: Earnings lost while recovering and, when supported by the evidence, the effect of the injury on your ability to earn income in the future.
Pain, suffering, and emotional harm: The physical discomfort and personal effects of the injury, including limitations on activities and enjoyment of life where recoverable.
Property damage and other related losses: Vehicle damage and other documented losses that may be recoverable under the circumstances.
Every claim requires an individual evaluation. The evidence, responsibility for the accident, nature of the injuries, and available insurance can all affect the outcome. We help you understand these factors rather than promise a particular settlement amount.

What to Do After an Accident
The first days after an accident can matter. Medical care comes first, and early documentation can help preserve information that may be difficult to obtain later.
1. Obtain appropriate medical care. Tell your medical provider how the injury occurred and describe your symptoms accurately. Follow the treatment advice you receive. If your treating physician recommends time off work or excuses you from work because of your accident-related injuries, ask for a written doctor’s note. The note should document the recommended dates off work and any work restrictions. Do not rely solely on an oral recommendation; keep a copy to help support your wage-loss claim.
2. Preserve available evidence. When safe, keep photographs of the scene, vehicle damage, visible injuries, and relevant conditions. Save witness contact information, report details, and insurance information.
3. Keep records of your losses. Retain medical bills, receipts, missed-work information, and correspondence. Note how your symptoms affect your usual activities. Using paid sick leave does not automatically prevent you from claiming accident-related wage loss. You may still be entitled to compensation for medically necessary time away from work even if you received pay through accrued sick leave. Keep pay stubs, leave records, your doctor’s written work excuse, and employer confirmation of the dates and hours missed so we can evaluate and document the claim.
4. Get advice before making important claim decisions. Understand requests for statements, authorizations, and settlement releases before agreeing to them. Contact our office early so we can discuss your circumstances and applicable deadlines.
Legal deadlines vary by claim, and claims involving government entities can have shorter requirements. Do not wait until you believe a deadline is approaching to seek advice.

No Win, No Attorney Fees
We handle personal injury claims on a contingency-fee basis. Our attorney fee depends on obtaining a recovery for you, as set out in the written fee agreement. If there is no recovery, there is no attorney fee.
Attorney fees and case costs are different. The written fee agreement explains the fee arrangement, how costs and expenses are handled, and how they affect your recovery. We discuss these terms with you before representation begins.
Your initial consultation is free. Tell us about the accident, the injuries involved, and any insurance communications you have received. We can review the available information and explain the next steps.

Answers to common questions
Questions After an Accident
Should I call if the insurance company has already contacted me?
Yes. We can help you understand the insurer’s requests and review the status of your claim. Keep copies of letters, emails, claim numbers, and any offers you receive.
What should I bring to a consultation?
Bring the information you have, such as photographs, insurance details, accident reports, medical records or bills, and wage-loss documents. If some records are missing, we can discuss what may be needed.
How long will my claim take?
Timing depends on your medical recovery, the evidence, insurance issues, and whether litigation is necessary. We discuss the factors affecting your case rather than give a one-size-fits-all timetable.
